EXPERIENCE:
Presently an owner engaged in civil engineering and surveying services in North Central Indiana. Providing engineering for sewage, water supply systems and storm drain facilities, building and site layouts.
  
Providing surveying for ditch and river drainage, construction layout, roadway, utility rights-of-way, and boundary surveys.

Expert witness for court appearances for drainage projects and boundary surveys.

Prior to civil engineering degree, held positions with Indiana Highway Department, responsible for field layout and material testing of Interstate Highways. Positions of engineering held with four firms from 1966 to 1978.

Served as structural designer for a large Midwestern consulting firm, responsible for design and detailing of bridges and buildings.

Served as field engineer for light and heavy construction. Responsible for plan interpretation, distribution and scheduling of equipment. Supervised personnel in building of form work for high-rise structures.

Served as construction superintendent with job responsibilities such as writing subcontracts, job scheduling, cost estimates, foundation and site layout, coordination of all subcontracts and purchasing of materials.

Served as project engineer in a construction management team for a large design/build firm in the Midwest. Responsible for all layout scheduling, checking of all drawings, writing of change orders, plan interpretation, and served as coordinator between contractors, architect and owner.

Served as Starke County Surveyor, responsible for the design, detailing and/or layout of highway intersections, drainage and rights-of-way. Provided total supervision of regulated drain projects and section monumentation programs. Conducted public hearings and construction inspection. Provided bridge inspection, estimates and preliminary design.

PROJECT RANGE: Direct responsibility has been assumed, either in private practice or while associated with other firms, for medical, education, industrial, institutional, residential, civil, and ecclesiastical projects with budgets exceeding 12 million dollars.
